How exactly did you lose so much TO.

Did you invest yourself, or make the big mistake of giving your money to someone else?

  3. I invested myself.

I started out making a bit and losing a bit. Then, at the end of 2008, I took a bigger hit, and tried to revenge trade to get it back. Got into a position where I was sitting on a fairly big loss, and just prayed it would come back. But it didn't, it just kept nose diving. It was leveraged which compounded the losses. This is when I threw the towel in, and I haven't traded since.

If I do try again, it will be with a very small amount of capital. It will be hard to make any profit, after comms, but at least I won't be able to lose much.

One thing I've learned from this thread is the best way to play this game is to bet small.

You must have lost a good bit to keep you away for that long. You must start small, and it all depends on what time you have available.

    Do you work, or retired?

I ask for a reason, as your availability will determine how you trade.

The option trade I done this morning was added to. I missed another buy at 5.00 by a few ticks in ES. I also missed some profit by having my sell limit in at 13.25.

Result, I made $500, or $494 to be exact, and was not watching the markets closely.

  6. Now this dude is asking you personal questions and trying to show you he knows how to make a profit. And next he'll say "Oh well I don't make a profit on all my trades, I lose a lot to." But he's not actually showing you any of that. He's just showing you he made $500, which is supposed to play into your greed emotion.

I can see your bullshit a mile away JS, or is it Red?

It is called explaining, you MORON :D

Not everyone is as thick as you, so why don't you go away and learn something about trading before you speak, for, all you are doing is showing your ignorance.

Maybe I will start pumping up the ES tomorrow, like I did today - boy, you are some dope :p

I take it you have the mobile app installed on your mobile phone?

If you are using the tablet mobile software, you will not get this chart, as you need the mobile phone version - I use an android phone, so I am not sure if the iphone app is the same.

Once you add your symbol to your quotes page, just click and it will load the buy/sell page with the chart - you can chage the chart settings to bar, candle or line, whichever you like best.

  10. Is that all you have left JS? Just insults and name calling? I'm all shook up inside.

You also commented a page or two ago that "I should be congratulated" for graduating to a level of understanding most traders don't get to, AND apparently OP contacted you (LOL) to say I "almost had the obvious right". So do you really think I'm a thick idiot JS? Or are you just gasping for air?

I already know what your response will be: "Yes WW you are a thick idiot who knows nothing about trading..." Please don't say those things about me JS, it hurts my feelings :(
