I understand the box. How do you determine how big to make your box (i.e. how do you know how close to the bottom or top price gets before engaging head on with the train coming at you?) Or do you monitor price and decide to enter based on if it's slowing down/reversing? Sometimes it's so quick you can't really monitor it slowing down, it just goes in and out. I can see the smaller the box the smaller the risk and the more leverage can be used if the trade goes right, but you might also miss more opportunities if it doesn't get close enough I'm hesitant about reversing if it comes out the other side of the box because I don't yet have a good plan about stopping a loss if the reverse backfires and comes back yet again (double-reverse?)
I respectfully ask that you please don't post here if you don't find the thread useful. You're not being productive and it's probably not helping your trading. Even if you think some of us are wasting our time, we're getting what we want out of it. This thread has made me realize the essence of what trading is all about. I honestly can't believe this thread is public. Having said that, I hope RN, TO, TE, NS, etc. all continue to keep this thread up as I would like to continue to ask questions and learn, and from the looks of it many others would like this continued as well.
It's an example of what I have not seen written anywhere else. I am taking the liberty of replying to your request to xtemz. If you had read the thread you may have understood the significance of montaigne and the message contained therein. Regard Bogan22
Sorry, didn't see this until today. I'm really no wiser than you. I'm just flicking out some thoughts. Above in bold. This thread needs to be read in conjunction with the other similar threads. Regards Bogan22
I read this thread from basically the beginning, it has been 4 years or so. Still have no clue what you meant. If you want to post in riddles, so be it, but is not constructive.
Years of shit is the obvious. People in ET love to post in riddles while acting like they know magical market secrets to get the attention of the sheep. The creator has probably been laughing his ass off for for fucking years now, and frankly, so have I.
