I found this on the internet........thought it was appropriate. I must stop reading the internet !!! Reading, after a certain age, diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking. Albert Einstein This isnât exactly the best known quote by Einstein and I doubt many teachers quote this to their students. Reading is generally a good thing, but if it starts becoming a substitute for thinking on your own it can hold you back from reaching your potential. This quote touches on a problem that holds many people back from actually accomplishing things. It is easy to spend so much time researching that you never actually execute. That doesnât mean you shouldnât read, do research and try to learn from others, but at some point you have to decide that youâve gathered enough data and the time has come to do something. That may be starting your own business, writing a book or even repainting your living room. You have a very finite lifespan. Some people spend their life preparing for what they want to do without ever actually doing what they want to do. Sometimes the most helpful situations are the ones that force you to go ahead and do something by removing the option to try to collect more information.
Each bar makes its contribution. and the five OOE's have their ranking of priority. As you saw a pt3 bar would have qualified except for the fact that it was an "internal case" which means log a wait. The bar looks like it will become part of a lateral. On the chart the display will show blue boxes in side of the lateral red boxes. this is set up as an automatic part of the display. Programmers call this "adding degrees of freedom". so programmers watching will see about 70 degrees of freedom that enhance the Pattern. All bars relative to each other must be degapped to take out the momentary switch from BBid/BAsk at the jump at the end of one bar and the beginning of the next. This assures all internals and translation are properly categorized. Bar 39 is the fourth bar of the current lateral. The Sym that began the lat needed to have a degapping. This means the boundary of the lat is adjusted from the second bar onward.
Thanks for the reply sir. You get me & Mysteron mixed up, but I will say now that I definitely don't need this thread. It's enjoyable to read it, but if anyone actually thinks they "need" a thread then they are doomed. If they need this one how many other threads do they need out there? Unfortunately I'll probably just remain passive-aggressive.............it's my nature. Who ever decided "passive-aggressive" was a bad trait anyway? Not me. I give equal weight to someone who is aggressive as to someone who is passive-aggressive. Anyway I agree with what you post above & I enjoy your other postings. Happy trading !
Good to see you posting again--I hope this is an indicator that your health is improving. You posted earlier that this morning you would be shorting within the first 20 seconds or so. Did you then wash when bar 1 violated the bookmark from bar 69 on Friday (if I recall correctly and adjusted for the opening gap)? Did you wash again when the bookmark on bar 1 was violated? -river
Now the 10:10 PT bar is flashing a short for 10:15. Edit: The tentative short signal did not persist to 10:15, so still long from the previous call.
You saw the initial boundaries for the T2; the P2 side increased and no new T1's were allowed at that time. So on bar 43 the T2 and pt3 brought the retrace to an end. as you Agent did not call the retrace as the end of the trend. Good for him. Bar 44 completes the range of limits for the P3 volume. If you are a PA person then you now have the geometri parallelogram for the end of the trend. Most PA traders only trade from bar 43 onward; from bar 21 to 43 they are sidelined usually (see various threads to prove this to yourself.)
