if it stops there is no more supply or demand depending on the side. no more interest or takers at that level. i would think in theory that is right but when does price fully stop?it can slow down and then it breaks one way or the other, but stop? ive seen on very slow less liquid stocks that price doesnt move, but on highly liquid stocks im not quite sure i have noticed that.
no XX..i do not mean stop and stay stopped..i mean stops moving in the direction it was going look at any chart..in any timeframe..and see if u see anything..but as we are talking about daytrading..pick the 1 min or 5 min?
looking at a chart now (1min). the candles get smaller , stop making new highs/lows and change colors
i lose when ever the price goes against me after I have placed the trade..when i lose i like to keep it small..no more then 25 cent if possible..so if i am in for 500 shares that is only $125 loss..but if i am in for 5000 shares then it is $1,250 loss of course if i win..and my 500 shares run up 50 cent..then i make $250..and if i am in for 5000 shares..i make $2,500 it should be obvious what is required in order to minimize losing trades and maximize winning trades
