    TO,

You didn't save the post with the code underlying the text by accident, did you?

The raw market data such as price quotes, ticks, bars may appear just like that code even to a trained eye. But, like a computer, if you know how to interpret the data than a certain context will transpire.

That particular context in turn will definitely be interpreted differently by different people despite the fact that the original text is there to convey a certain ("obvious") message.

In other threads on ET I see people argue really hard. Some believe that the context being created is made of random pieces and thus its meaning is useless. While others argue that the meaning of the context did not appear out of nothing and not only could be used to explain what is happening but can even provide some clues of what is going to happen next.

Everybody sounds so convincing and thus appears to be right. And ... there's the Truth - what is it? Thank you.

  2. the price is a word,
    the word is the bird,
but to run with the herd,
    and to SEE, is absurd.

English – is a language…, as is French, Latin, and Ket

This post of TO’s contains a couple of different languages……

Price too has a language – one only need learn it

Then trading becomes simply reading a book, as it is being written…. Every day a new page…. Every gap a new chapter

    imho of course

Should still be able to find
    And see The Truth
'cause if it's out there to be
    it's already in me

  7. beware this poster.. (TE/TO/NY... all these guys)

they could very well be in the process of SETTING YOU UP!

setting you up to take huge losses later on in the 'game'.

    1) it is very interesting and weird that anyone would start commenting and posting on very very old threads years after everyone has stopped.

    2) this thread is suppose to get ppl to think.... i do not even consider this an exercise . these guys could not have been anymore subtle (sarcasm) (did i really need to say that or did you guys figure it out ALL ON YOUR OWN. lol)

there 'obvious' is based on .. essentially nothing. no sound reasoning what so ever.

ask yourself... what happens after the algo's stop trading in this fashion? when the lines are not so clear and everything becomes blurred.

which this is not a hypothesis. it is reality. things will change.
and by then. you will be a trained monkey.

so a prerequisite. thousands of hours logged watching the level two and the charts. then when the change happens (not if, but when)
you will be able to at least make the next cut of established traders.
