Of the last 12 posts 2 are Jack H 1 response to Jack H by NYSE 1 response to Jack H by RN 1 from Rainman 1 from diego11 1 from RN to NYSE with politeness All these posts are useless. A disservice has been done to me. NYSE, can I have 7 more posts on specifics on trading? Thanks and regards
I think I am starting to get a faint glimmer of what NYSE is talking about... Thanks for the spark - need to see if I can make fire...
As a brief warning to other noobs here such as myself: I have taken a little time this morning to read a few of Jack's previous contributions. Here is a classic example. "It is easy to see that using the YM column and anotating the chart almost completes the transition from being in the grandstands to fully imposing on your radial glial fibers to transport all new neurons from the ventricular zone up the flag poles to your cortical surface." I must admit that when I read that I laughed so hard I spat most of my sandwich over my keyboard, thus making what can only be described as "a right fucking mess". Whilst undeniably there is a some value in a few of his ideas, I felt moved at the conclusion my little foray to make a donation to a favourite charity. The guy has obviously got a lot of cogs turning in his head but none of them are meshing. Sad really.
+1 ScoobySnack. No offense to Mr Hershey, but if he practiced brevity he might not have so many detractors.
RN, Put like that, it sounds a lot like Jack's view of trading the ES... nyse, Here's something on betting that I've been thinking about lately; it may or may not 'rhyme' with your ideas: "To bet on the bet, not on the choices that condition it. To opt for certain risk rather than hypothetical gain." - palinuro
I guess you couldn't grasp the bold part. Did you try to dig up the unknown vocabulary and look up the subject-specific content before you so selflessly warned the rookies?
One of the most important and most useful statements of the entire thread. If you are a struggling intraday stock trader, please take this to heart, this may change thing for you forever. RN, you are a true gentleman.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote from ScoobyStoo: As a brief warning to other noobs here such as myself: Here is a classic example. Sad really. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I guess you couldn't grasp the bold part. Did you try to dig up the unknown vocabulary and look up the subject-specific content before you so selflessly warned the rookies? --------------------------------------------- Okay, here's the thing for me. It is important to know how and why everything works. Sometimes others get curious about what is what. At some point they grasp the cool opportunity of the market's continuing offer. And, often they "get it" with respect to the requirements of the trader/market partnership. As we continue to deal with the absolute magnitude of the situation, a little dry humor creeps slowly and inevitably into the picture. I don't pay to go to Improv and when I do I know I will get dragged to the stage to pay my dues. If a person happens to know about leading indicators of price and he knows the language of the markets and is a successful partner, he, usually, also knows how he works and what is growing inside him. His brain for one thing. That quote from me would put everyone at Improv on the floor rolling around simply if they were alive and intelligent. At Improv this is the "setup". Everyone on stage is looking for the people who DO NOT GET IT. They are going to be made laughing stocks for several minutes as the paragraph is explained in a variety of terms that will rock the house. In trading, as a new expert, a person has gome through several mind blowing experiences. A lot of them occur in the morning after a serious night's sleep. At night a lot of stuff is run up the flag poles. Its flying when the first "Oh (shiiiiit) can you see" occurs when old glory appears on the chart after "all through the night"...... Long term memory, in terms of the market's language, has become more and precisely differentiated. Naturally, I use the science and medical terms because of my professional and volunteer experience in trauma rooms where I get to see people's head shot up and how they change their behavior permanently. And I had to pass tests, exams and have malpractise insurance. It is absolutely rock the house funny to produce a paragraph like that paragraph. Put yourself in my place. And think about me seeing that quote in a traderzone or Babak blog or on Utube in a video by one of these kinds of air heads. (sorry for the Seinfeld head series illusion). I am lmao and rotf. It is just like seeing a Trader666 fuck up in backtesting, etc..... Or the CONSTANT PHISHING OF THE OCD'S IN ET. Why is the obvious not so obvious? the answer is permanent brain damage caused by choice. NYSEstocks beat his head against the wall for apparently no whine or reason. What gives a guy a red neck.... obviously we see excessive dead neurons being pumped away by his limp system. I would love it if people other than about a 100 here could have the continuing experience I have lmao and rotf when I read these air headed irreparibly mentally damaged bullshitters who are wrong and stupid by choice. ET is by far the funniest fucking place on earth because of the dummies who post here who think their brains still work. It is not that they do not understand the words or the humor in the paragraph. they are so far beyond repair it is just hilarious with every letter they type. what illustrates the paragraph is found in each of the following references (in no particular order except I know the first few, personally) The Self Healing Human Susanna Eldin, PhD. Coyote Healing Lewis Mehl-Madronna MD, PhD. Synaptic Self Joe Le Doux The Brain That Changes Irself Norman Doidge MD a universe of Consciousness Edelman and Tononi ENVY lol by Helmut (my baby) Schoek the Emotional Brain see Joe above i of the vortex by cowboy tex Llinas and for these deprived people and how they got there: The Carbon Dioxide Syndrome Jennie and Rus Stark the down under guys. Figure 4.1 Page 69 shows the paragraph as a pic. It is in Joes book first mentioned.
