Its about carbon emissions. The reduced GDP of the USA pleases the democrats because the hard-core global warmists among them think we have a reduced carbon footprint with reduced commerce.

They want to "bring America down a notch or two".

what we need is a 50-75% haircut in $. All problems will be gone shortly.

not to mention that the Tri Lateral Commish wants to make the US, Europe, and Japan on a par and all to have the same moral values. Thus the neverending funding and political capital for Gay marriage and all the immoral stuff from the Left...

  4. Why don't you throw 50-75% of your money in the garbage.

You'll accomplish the same feat in an even faster way!

  5. No, what we need is to call on the Baby Boomer generation (a.k.a. "the Me Generation") to account for the last 30 years their selfish asses have been in power. They have been in charge, spending us f***ing broke.

They have destroyed America's future with their 30 years of deficit spending and corruption. And now they sit and whine about how they won't keep getting more entitlements. They are truly the most selfish generation of Americans ever.

    1) All Boomers who have more than $150k need to have their entitlements immediately cut off - no social security or medicaid - they are supposed to live on retirement funds saved, not our taxes. If they run out of money, THEN they get benefits

    2) All Boomers need to have 10% of their assets immediately seized and paid towards the national debts they have created in the last 3 decades

    3) All Boomers need to be mandated to leave at least 1/3 of their estate to pay off the national debt upon their death. They would not have this money if they had not plundered Uncle Sam to begin with

Let's put the blame and accountability to where it actually belongs.

  8. Agreed. But I'd say all Boomers must give up 75% of all assets is better. Since it was all stolen from other generations anyway.

  9. Slapshot is an asshole. Doesn't understand a thing at all....which, of course, is why I've had him on ignore for so long.

His anger is justified, but it's completely misdirected.

  10. Its just gravity and forces of nature.

US has been on top of the world for like 100 years.

    What do people expect?

For it to last 200 years? 500 years?

It was a nice run but the simplicity in putting the blame for the downturn in US fortune can be quite irritating at times.

It's just the way the world goes.

First you are slim, mean and ambitious, then you gain weight, you have all the food you need and you become lazy, arrogant and self inflicting.

Nothing anyone can do about it.

This is why China is already setting itself up for it's fall within a few decades.

Once everyone has his own Ipod the barrel breaks and the rise in prosperity will shift elsewhere.
