Why is Ninja Trader worth $1,000.00?

I bought Ninjatrader I think in 2009, at the time was better for what I required than the old Tradestation I owned, I had to buy a converter for TS due to data companies switched methods and Tradestation stopped supporting it when they went to leasing it instead of selling.

The trouble with NT, they stop supporting at some point the older versions, so best to just acknowledge you going to have to re-do all your indicators. In later years I had own charting and platforms built for more my needs as NT has limitations. The newer version 8 is a bear to program as my partner and I have returned to NT, but if you keep writing to Ninja people, who are programmers and NOT traders, they will eventually help you with your problems. There are over 500 upgrades to NT 8 than 7, they actually listened to their customers needs and only 64 bit I believe available. My partner had up to 120k plus lines of code in NT 7, when we opted to change over to NT8, and now the same code been reduced to 26k lines of code. They went to "units" so you only have to code it once. And once you own it, never will have to pay for upgrades again....

Cheap for such an amazing software. Been user since Ninja 5 (13 years, where did the time go).

Ninja is good for beginning, but I think NT 7 has limitation of being single threaded while running multiple real time strategies.
I have not ported to NT 8 so I don't know if it is much better for running real time strats.

  4. 1K is the least problem with NT.The weirdest thing with NT for me is why it takes millennium to fix all the bugs showing up one after another, one after another.

And if you buy it and go broke, it can be 1000 for a week or a month. Not to worry though, can always sell it on ET for pennies on the dollar.

I claim my ES approach works. EVERY 500 in my account adds to my leverage. The time it takes to develop a method is many times the time it takes that method to develop a limitless fortune. I will buy any material that guarantees success. Have not found anyone issuing that guarantee so I developed my own.
I am a pattern recognition specialist, it is a natural talent supplemented with huge math education and laser focus.
Selling my approach would earn me less per hour than I could earn trading it. No brainer.
Way more retail traders than should be. My evidence is the small success rate.
If youre going to lose 5k, what's the difference if it's 4k and NJ7. None
I trade for two others. I get 20% of withdrawals, if any, no risk. Takes me zero time on top of my time. If they get nothing, I get nothing. So far, they got something, knowing nothing but me. Time will tell all. I think you should buy it.

  6. EX,

Well...your trades are on fire these days...I am getting Tradovate back shortly (maxed out the sim to 30 days, so now I gotta' fund)...so that I can follow along. I guess for me...I gotta' give up before I can begin. The story of my life.

Meanwhile, I lost 93 bucks to a subscription to a system that just does not fit me...so back to volume trading/practicing. Your stuck with me I guess.

NT7 has some tools that can improve your sytem EX...but you do not need improvement as its hard to improve a 100% winrate with tight 2, 4 paremeters in the bracket. The fact that you are consistent places you in the Elite.I had perfect days with your system and I got to examine those days closer.

P.S. I have no aspirations to trade others money or to have someone trade my money. I just want to get back into trading intraday...prefer scalping 1-3 ticks with tight stops into momentum....its those runners that distracted me..they have big tits.

P.S. S. I am always looking around while focusing. But now is the time to focus. Learning the DOM and chart reading does not interest you EX as you are in the Elite, but I need to always look and expand. I have no reason to believe that your system will stop working and it is not out of fear I do what I do. I think it would be good for me to get something under my belt that I can make my own with your help. I look forward to post one of those FY threads that you recently posted (I tried to calm the storm with distractions and satire as much as I could to thwart off the negative microtrends).

  7. I had a question about a field in the ATM and I was told to email by Brian who seemed rather rushed and tired of all the newbies calling him. I miss technical support phone numbers that TT has. However I must say that googling my question took me to a rather extensive NT forum...But my question as to what the plus field in the auto breakeven stop strategy menu meant..goes unanswered.

  8. I have experience with NinjaTrader platform , automated trading programming , and the customer support. They are TERRIFIC, they answer alllll my questions.

NT8 also have high resolution filled back testing for more accuracy with 1 year of free back testing data. This means if you are an intraday trader and your strategy depends of price movement inside of one bar, this helps you for backtesting accuracy.

Their forum help is amazing too. I also like their strategy wizard.

$1000 for lifetime simulation is a good deal.
