Why is ice always going down? lol

    You'd think that making $1.3M pure vig in the OTC market every day they'd buy some more ECN capability.

    Globex is such a Ferrari.

    Maybe that's it - ICE doesn't really give a shit about futures.

    Which would explain why CME has such a hard-on for the OTC market.

  5. The downtime was close to their already scheduled maintenance, so it wasn't too terribly bad.

    Last time it went down in the middle of the day, someone pulled the power at a data center. It could've happened to any electronic exchange, Municipal codes where the data centers are dictate this (emergency power shutoffs).

    Globex isn't built for bilateral, which is how alot of the OTC stuff is transacted.
