You picked up on that also-- it's likely all the same person and it's clear who that is. He is even making claims that he was close to being a market wizard. Another guy on here use to claim he nearly got the nobel prize for some kind of TA work. So nothing surprises me.
Is it true Wharton School of Business recently ordered 500 copies of the book and signed a publishing deal for him to write a second and third edition?
He is now offering a trading and psychology course at Harvard http://www.espnfc.co.uk/blog/espn-f...rvard-business-school-was-a-hit-and-heres-why
Is the girl in that article Jerry Seinfeld's sister? http://a.espncdn.com/combiner/i/?im...c_g_elberse_d1_1296x864.jpg&w=738&site=espnfc
dbphoenix is smart in whys I will only be able to wish I could be smart (sad face). I might have him beat in 1 area. When I learn a small aspect of a technical (yes) ANALUYSIS !!! techinqe I am able to put it into it's individual compoinent parts in a way in which I shouldn't ever talk about. db understands the whole body of TA knowledge. He has the indivuddal definitions of components down where it's 99% truth. It's impossible to explain how I have such small grasp of narrow subjects and he has the same knowledge as I and at an equal level of understanding, but I if were to try to not talk about the subject then imo everyhone would still figure it out. I think I get why all of a sudden. db will go thru the entire ciriculum without emphasizing the small parts which are the only parts I know. which leaves everyone having to do their own work (happy face)
It's been said recently on another thread, actually several threads by multiple members. That (in my own words) it's not necessarily the strength or weakness of what traders pick to use to determine direction. It's their ability to use the tools they've selected. It doesn't take a really smart person to persist long enough to accomplish that task but it does take a lot of qualities I'm not qualified to list but here's a start and maybe we can change this thread into a positive we can be proud of ...and make even this thread great. PERSISTENCE Not changing so often as to never master any one thing that might have an edge. It's not the tools, it's how we use them.
