Why is Al Gore...

  1. So either Reagan was a complete and total imbecile or one of the biggest frauds in American political history.

    Take your pick!

  2. It's hard to argue that Reagan didn't do anything good for the USA.

However, considering the hole he dug us into regarding deficit spending and totally unrealistic defense spending, nuclear proliferation, and totally unfounded fear of Soviet invasion (I would strongly recommend reading http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...002-7323072-3651234?v=glance&s=books&n=507846 -- it will give you an idea of the deliberate fabrication of the Reagan administration's Soviet paranoia, which is not very much unlike the Bush administration's stance on terror and how it is being used to push fascist legislation under the guise of the Patriot Act), I think that anyone who supports this mode of government is totally insane.

  3. If you are a total socialist that needs a big government safety net because you are such a lousey trader then that type of government is insane. (read Pit Bull) But if you can or have made your own way over the years and have the faith in yourself to do so then the socialist way is no good at all. The protection afforded by a strong country provides the freedoms we enjoy. There is a long held axiom that freedom comes through the shedding of blood.
