The truth of the matter is that everything hangs by a thread, especially in democratic countries. Sure, the wealthy have more "power," and, just as a fact: Non-Jews hold more wealth by a factor of 1,000,000,000 than Jews. And, yes, that's the correct number of zeros. I wish things were so easy that we could point to an active conspiracy, but the best you can find when you to venture out into that world is that sometimes the wealthy's interests overlap and they take advantage of that and act with the power their wealth generates. But, there's no cabal ruling your life. It's just incompentence fueled y unanimous consent from Joe Six-Pact afraid to elect someone competent enough to make complex decisions and stand up to corporate lobbying and funding. Maybe, that'll change within our lifetime.
