Hi, I am wondering why is it that when I place an order with my IB account I don't see that order reflected on the TDA ameritrade Level II ? Should I choose a specific exchange instead of using SMART? why this might be happening? Thanks a lot!
Not what I expected. Next time it happens, take a screen shot of TWS and TOS and ask IB why your orders are not reaching any exchange or ECN on the consolidated tape. You might have to change from smart to choosing an ECN.
I only used TWS for a short time. I had issues with option spread orders not going to market, but never equity orders.
