Why I don't believe in current Machine Learning: Emergence

  1. Well, it depends how you define machine learning. In the literal sense that would also encompass deep learning. Pretty much every country on this globe recognizes and stresses the strategic importance of developing its capabilities at handling deep learning technologies. Let the hype and often mislabeling by unethical companies and startups not clout your judgment.

    Would you argue that a deep learning algorithm is less capable at generating trading signals based on momentum and trends, for example, than 95% of humans even sampled exclusively from the average retail punter community? I am happy to make my case if you disagree
