Why Hillary can't be President

  1. And what about the long list of priests who abused children? You would think they'd be holier than thou, seeing as how they read the bible all day and chant at night. They've been imbued in religion and yet they're predators. I'm not suggesting that religion made them do it, but it sure as hell didn't prevent it. Religion is a non sequitur in this equation. It is moot. It is window dressing. (It always is.) People must have the capacity for empathy. It can be nurtured, but it can't be created. The abusive priests are sociopaths lacking empathy. Religion did not and cannot create it for them.

You are at sea, jem. There's no bringing you back.

  2. The charges were "proven to be false." Really? That's news to me and the guys who served with Kerry. Are you saying he didn't put in for Purple Hearts for scratches that other guys ignored? Or that he used connections to get a soft stateside reassignment? Or that he slandered troops under fire as war criminals with no evidence?

  3. No, the Catholic Church was desperate for priests and foolishly accepted many homosexuals, who then came into contact with teen age boys who had sexual identity issues.

Dont know if I agree with that, where did they openly accept homosexuals as preachers? Admittedly im not well studied on it cause im an atheist, but i think its more of a factor of pedophiles finding situations that are advantageous to their sick desires. The reason so many pedophiles end up as priests or teachers, or coaches is because they put themselves in a position where they will be an authority figure over children. Becoming a priest or a coach just so happens to be one of those positions that is relatively easy to obtain, no degree required and those positions are often in short supply.

We know which arguments from the leftist playbook will be used even before they're stated.

If it's religion, steeping yourself in it will have no effect on behaviour. It couldn't possibly change a person.

If it's about that homo stuff, society must reject and surpress any negative portrayals in media because it will surely shape perceptions and lead to negative attitudes and possibly actions towards a lifestyle that all people should realize is normal.

We can tell what the left really thinks about the principal of exposure by the fact that it floods the media with it's own playbook. Why would they waste their time if they didn't think it would work?

Still trying to figure out why priests molesting boys is a church problem and not a homo problem.

It is very difficult for the people to have a good idea of who they are electing. The politican's speeches are written for them, their looks are covered by the cosmetics industry and their own thoughts are basically unknown.

Their policies are largely those of the party heavyweights.

So what you get is a sort of puppet/mouthpiece of the party struggling to implement their own ideas like Obama-care etc. The various departments have tens of thousands of employees but their mountains of suggestions are largely ignored unless useful to back up the President's views. Like WMDs and Bush. Daddy had a war so why not me ?

  7. ...Although the men quoted above [who spoke negatively] are often identified as "John Kerry's shipmates," only one of them, Steven Gardner, actually served under Lt. Kerry's command on a Swift boat. The other men who served under Kerry's command continue to speak positively of him:
"In 1969, I was Sen. Kerry's gun mate atop of the Swift boat in Vietnam. And I just wanted to let everyone know that, contrary to all the rumors that you might hear from the other side, Sen. Kerry's blood is red, not blue. I know, I've seen it.

"If it weren't for Sen. John Kerry, on the 28th of February 1969, the day he won the Silver Star . . . you and I would not be having this conversation. My name would be on a long, black wall in Washington, D.C. I saw this man save my life."3

    — Fred Short

"I can still see him now, standing in the doorway of the pilothouse, firing his M-16, shouting orders through the smoke and chaos . . . Even wounded, or confronting sights no man should ever have to see, he never lost his cool.

I had to sit on my hands [after a firefight], I was shaking so hard . . . He went to every man on that boat and put his arm around them and asked them how they're doing. I've never had an officer do that before or since. That's the mettle of the man, John Kerry."3

    — David Alston

"What I saw back then [in Vietnam] was a guy with genuine caring and leadership ability who was aggressive when he had to be. What I see now is a guy who's not afraid to tackle tough issues. And he knows what the consequences are of putting people's kids in harm's way."2

    — James Wasser

    • Many of Kerry's Vietnam commanders and fellow officers also continue to speak positively of him:
Navy records, fitness reports by Kerry's commanders and scores of interviews with Swift boat officers and crewmen depict a model officer who fought aggressively in river ambushes and won the respect of many of his crewmates and commanders, even as his doubts about the war grew.

"I don't like what he said after the war," said Adrian Lonsdale, who commanded Kerry for three months in 1969. "But he was a good naval officer."2

"I don't know what conclusions you can draw about someone's ability to lead from their combat experience, but John's service was commendable," said James J. Galvin, a former Swift boat officer . . . "He played by the same rules we all did."1
    • How well all of these men knew John Kerry is questionable, and discrepancies between how some of them described Kerry thirty-five years ago and how they describe him today suggest that their opinions are largely based upon political differences rather than objective assessments of Kerry's military record. For example, Rear Admiral Roy Hoffman is quoted above, yet the Los Angeles Times reported:
. . . Hoffman and Kerry had few direct dealings in Vietnam. A Los Angeles Times examination of Navy archives found that Hoffman praised Kerry's performance in cabled messages after several river skirmishes.1

Though he will of course log this into his anti-Christian, anti-Christianity journal and stroke it and reference it whenever reality taps at the fragile surface of his psyche.

You are now a douche-bag leftist.
