  5. was reading bloomberg japan tonight ... as saw
a comment from a mr gartman which at first glance made me wonder if he was changing his mind on gold as a week ago he thought there could be a selloff ... maybe he is still waiting for a dip to buy ?

-`This is perhaps the most perfectly defined uptrend we have seen in our lifetime,'' said Dennis Gartman, 55, a trader, economist and editor of Suffolk, Virginia-based Gartman Letter. ``What we can learn from this is that weakness is to be bought rather than strength be sold.''-

"henry blodget" ? ... as if $525 or $550 is not high enough ?

my jaw dropped a little reading this call today
on cbsmarketwatch site from a newsletter writer

    - Doelling thinks gold may even attempt to rally to "that next nice round number -- $600 -- possibly before the year's close.-

  9. Whos henry blodget? Please excuse my ignorance.

$600 before xmas. O-k.......dont see it myself, BUT, if the standard consumer spending blitz fails, on the top of anything suggesting household debt has financed the xmas splurge (which it will) , throw in some bad news from the middle east, and-and............
no, $600 is a big call, period.

  10. henry blodget was an analyst who in the nasdaq bubble era called "AMZN" to $400 ... when amzn
was about 1/2 that price ... (AMZN hit his target price and made a name for him at the time )

now here is Jim Rogers quoted in an artcle

not saying he does not have an agenda
but he is still bullish on commodities
