Why Gold is jumping?

  1. "no fundamental reasons for a short term move. Fundamental reasons are always after the fact explanations most often dictated by the psychology of the moment"

this is one of the dumbest things i've read in a trading forum

this is the kind of rubbish that gives technical analysis a bad name

use what works. both TA and fundamentals do.

if you can't figure the latter out, which in the case of gold is swimmingly obvious, then that is sad for you

    here's a little hint

    TA is a derivative

do u think all the institutional footprints that TA helps to detect were put there by institutions that are trading off chart patterns?

not when they are moving that kind of $$$, and have to move into positions slowly.

fundamental analysis works, and it's a great tool

i get tired of myopic traders who criticize that which they don't understand

and i say this as somebody who daytrades index futures based off of TA
