I just noticed yesterday that ECBOT gold starts at 18:16 central time while Comex gold starts at 18:00 EST, that's 76 mins difference. I cannot think of any legitimate reasons for this. IMO, ECBOT is putting position holders at risk by opening an hour late.
its been like this for yrs however it is possible to layoff some risk while waiting for ecbot to re - open
Someone mentioned in another thread that after CBOT and CME merge they wont trade gold on CME/CBOT any more due a non complete cluase with NYMEX (CME currently host NYMEX on GLOBEX). Anyone know if this is true? Would be good if all the liquidity was in place.
