Why dont Americans come to Europe to trade

  2. FYI, last week the G20 denied implementing a world-wide traders tax.

    In Europe, it will be a fact soon.

    Another reason NOT to trade in Europe.

  3. Unless you trade Forex and the local European instrument market, Europe is not the best place to trade in terms of timezone and tax consideration. The biggest financial market outside of Europe is still the North American market and that market's operating hours is 5 or 4 hours later than the European market. Hardly the most favored time to trade.

    Second, in terms of tax consideration, there are countries like Singapore who has no taxes on profit. And its timezone allows trading in ALL three market, the European, the Asian and the North American markets. If Singapore's cost of living is too high, you can easily go to cheaper Asian countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand to set up your trading operation there which would still allow you to trade in ALL financial markets across the world in one day.
