While theoretically this makes a compelling arguement, you forget most 'day traders' in the US of A are just problem gamblers living in trailer parks. It's the thought that counts, I guess.

in my experience it's been the red tape of visa's and things. I run a large and profitable book trading Euribor/Short Sterling/Eurex products and would love to take my team to London but the logistics of it seem to be a nightmare. Instead we as US traders are forced to drop money building out our colocation infrastructure in Basildon to shave off micro/miliseconds. to the OP; please PM me if you have any insights in moving prop trading from US to London.
