"Can not be shown or proven" is entirely false, I could do so but risk revealing my methodology all for what, satisfying your curiosity? The mkt lines up the trades and creates the "biases", I just interpret the signals and when alignment occurs on my time frames, I take the trade. All entries are 100% non random and objective. Exits can be objective but most of the time I use subjectivity with regards to time of day, whether its a slow summer trading day etc.
Tim Sykes????? You have hit rock bottom Surf. Sykes had a very short period where he did well. Then got demlished and blew up his "fund". Great example............
Sykes is still doing great. Check out his covestor account. Yeah, his strategy was not transferable or scalable to OPM in the fund-- its more of a retail trader thing-- small scale. surf
Yes, it can be programmed. Like I said exits CAN be objective but not the entries. Entries are always 100% objective and non random. How about price driver method? Can that be programmed?
thanks. I don't know for sure-- price driver is still in its infancy. Everyone should read this thread: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=247268&perpage=6&pagenumber=1 surf
Surf, you are absolutely trashing guys who use TA/PA/Pattern Recognition. You have a strategy that works for you. Great. Price drivers. I don't necessarily believe in your methodology but you know what.....if it works for you....GREAT. Your consistent bashing really diminishes your credibility.
Are you SURE it will be consistent over time? Don't want you to become a true believer in something again that doesn't have a personal track record of success for you over an extended period of time.
Surf, he is doing great hawking dvd's on his site. He has mastered the game of selling a unscalable strategy to new traders with $4000 in an account trading 200 shares of a 7.00 stock. Good luck with that. If he had a strategy that could make money he would be trading. If the world of tiny retail traders diminishes, he will be fucked as he can't make any kind of money with his strategy. Basically he attracts the same people who watch "Jersey Shore" and convinces them to trade.
