  3. Huh? I didn't quantify a time I was done for--- I know we are poking holes in deeply held beliefs here, but no need to resort to personal attacks....

LOL--you like that word "quantify", huh??
You are truly a lot of fun brother Surf, but please don't ask to trade any of my money or take any of your advice to heart.

  6. Quote from BSAM:

Brother Surf...Since you haven't been a day trader since 2005, how is it you can be telling people how they need to trade?

I like to think I keep my fingers on the pulse of the market-- I talk to a lot of people in the business, plus trade daily ( not day trade unless a quick exit is required).

  7. It is only the decision making process after entering.

the supurlative trader has an additional "edge" going for him.

He does the same thing before entering as he does after entering, all in terms of decision making.

The goal of this singular type effort is to find ENDS OF TRENDS.

One true and basic characterisitc of the END of a TREND is that it is identical the the begining of a trend BUT IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION.

Imagine you know this. Think about how your emotions would be different than they are in your present trading.

Before you find an entry, you could be calm cool and collected. Once you enter everything is based on below your neckline.

you couild change your whole orientation, if all you did was look for entries. Each entry you would be looking for would ACTUALLY be the exit to your present highly emotional hold.

  10. OK... makes more sense. When I have a lateral or any internal as a beginner I simply "fold" the price bar and wait. Do I do the same with the volume bars of those internals?
