I can't argue with you. I based that call on info I was getting from a large gold fund-- that was highly accurate previously---- dont ask, but we lost a fortune---obviously, I was following flawed info ....The next year, the fund was up over 100%-- after my clients took a beating. Fortunately, I was diversified across 5 non correlated strategies that year. One of which paidi off in a huge way....
So you basically admit you were selling the rumor and buying the news. It is axiomatic, but why rely on one tool alone. Very simple TA would have kept you from taking a bath.
Regarding my first post and request as OP, this short video best explains our progress so far... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=C4oAOwpdels
I think if the person spewing this nonsense had trading credibility, then perhaps it would get better responses. But you don't. Is like a .185 hitter in baseball telling everyone what they should or shouldn't do.

Exactly...... Surfer can be well described in this paragraph. [I have a number of possible explanations for that. Real traders exasperated by pretend traders. Outrage at con artists who hustle the gullible. Posters who pose as gurus but speak in the most turbid turgid manner imaginable. Totally ignorate noobs who seek advice and then argue with you about it. Idiot sponsors who post the same announcement in six different fora. Sock puppets talking to themselves. Trading psychologists who don't trade. Non-native speaker spammers who think they're being subtle. That's just for starters.] I feel he is a trading psychologist who does not trade. Especially now that his track record has been put out in the open. By the way.... My nineteen year old son who is in a high level business course (now studying trading) says smurf is an idiot for carrying on about the obvious benefits.
