You know how Tudor trades? LOL ! His TA guy hasn't been with him since the early 90's--- ever wonder why? surf
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=ITP.TO&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p95125882978 Sure; here is a before the fact call. A) The above chart shows an almost perfect trend where this stock has appreciated 10-20% per month for a while now. B) In past observations, whenever there was a sell off, or a possible attack from shorters I observed the asks bought up by large bids. Ie: 1 million plus shares driving the stock to new highs. C) I have entered this trend several times and earned an average of 12% per month or better. D) average volume has steadily increased E) my call is to enter the stock today on a simulated trade, at market, and watch this stock and your account appreciate by 10% without margin, more with, in the next 20 trading days. D) common sense tells us this trend may fail therefore spread your trading stake over 2-3 such trends. E) to me stop loss is an art, I'd exit if the behaviour changes. No physical stop. Surf; are you a day trader using statistics to predict and trade noise? Perhaps this is clouding your vision. Noise is definitely random.
You are speculating (making it up) that Jones no longer looks at charts and that the do not work for him because of a past a past employee. My above post above a technical call. I am really trying to understand your reading but so far you remind me of a stubborn teenager.
Thanks, Lucky. So, your call is for this stock to be at $9.82 or higher within 30 days? Good to see a TAer willing to make an actual before the fact call. Good luck to you! surf ps-- i see you are in real estate.i relate-- the first business, i started, was in marketing high end residential properties (magazine)-- i am still involved to a degree in that market--- these guys are part of the group of hedge funds I work with-- www.adriapartners.com serious bond lease RE with an edge. surf
Surf you're so funny in your tries to squeeze system details from participants of this thread, regularly switching between extreme claims like "only 1000 trades are enough as a proof" and "make some live calls". NoD pointed it out the best, by the way we just have fun in the thread.
Check out this video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gY39haQ5SKo&feature=youtube_gdata_player He explains it pretty good.
WRB trader pointed out earlier in this thread that some other poster documented his/her systems trades for 5 -7 months (TA based trading) and surf STILL said that their results were just luck. You can't win with this guy. Of course we are having fun here! At the end of the day, whether Surf learns anything or not, I still have made my money trading. The only way I wouldn't be having fun is if I missed a system trade due to posting here but so far that hasn't happened.
1000 calls would start to be real evidence-- however, for me, just a few before the fact calls would be nice. surf
That's your problem, somehow you believe that others should be willing to spend their time for free to act nice to you.
I would like to see the context and evidence of the above claim. I don't recall seeing a 5-7 month run of before the fact calls from anyone. surf
