Why does no one here give detailed trading advice?

  1. Oraclewizard,

The biggest problem with SCT that I can think of is that Spyder or Jack never posted blogs. Most trading packages annotate your entries and exits so when readers notice this difficulty yet they don't see "evidence" of efficiency they get suspicious. Especially when the question of SCT only working in hindsight comes up so much. They could have opened a live trading room and say, here, look at me doing it live, it's real it's possible. In the meantime, this system is still an enigma.

    Hellothere:

I post a fairly detailed journal at the end of each day (Journals: NoDoji's Day Tradiing Log). There you can see what I've done that's successful and what I've done to make a real mess of things. You can even compare my entry/exits to the day's charts and pick apart my trades, the good and the bad. Reading, studying charts and sim trading are all crucial, but when you get your head in the game, it can go different ways. Some of the journals on this site give you insight into the benefits of discipline and the dangers of straying from a plan.

Folks we are talking about getting the beginning trader off to a good start. When I start my thread I do not need hecklers or I will end my sessions as quick as they started.

Think back to what would have saved you some time when you were first starting out. Swordsman help me out here, that is the type of thread I want to start. I am not going to lay trading strategies on them right from the begining. If you are a seasoned trader and want to rip my beginner lessons to shreds for a good kick then I will leave. Smart traders with integrity will know if I am for real or not.

My goal is not to brag about my knowledge and success, it will be to give the beginning trader a place to start learning to help them avoid early bad habbits and pitfalls. Is the "Trading Forum" the correct venue for that or not. If you want me gone just say so. I am sorry if I came here with the wrong approach but where I come from this site is not regarded real well and I performed an experiment in psychology to see what kind of charactors I would expose. It helped me but not you guys, sorry for that.

well I tried folks. I guess that the reputation of this site around the trading forum circle is well earned, just a bunch of internet trolls that would rather fight than trade stocks and swap ideas.

I will leave you to your house of horrors.

You see I was not trying to sell anything. Just seeing if the claims that this site is the joke of the trading forums was true.

They were right. (and I did read through quit a bit of the "trading Forum" )

    Bye, Bye now
