Why does NG have big gaps up/down on Sunday night?

    NG frequently has a big gap up or down at the Sunday open. Why is that? I'm not aware of any news that gets released over the weekend.

    What do you consider news?

    How about the weather report for the next 5 days on Sunday evening is often different then the weather report on Friday evening.
