during the day, cramer makes investment picks, not trading picks. you shouldn't be trading something just because it's on cnbc anyway...
cramer says himself that once he mentions a stock, wait for the pullback because you have all the dummies buying as soon as it's mentioned on cnbc or the day after...
and of course it's a "gamble" if you are going to enter a trade because cramer, or anybody on cnbc is promoting a stock...wtf kinda trading is that...i mean what part of anybody's intraday trading plan is: "trade what cramer mentions"
cnbc is good for ideas and news, not trading advice, except Fast Money.

I think fast money is the worst show on cnbc. I like deal or no deal the best. However, I hate the stupid people that don't understand probability and are so dramatic when the banker calls with his first offer.

Do you think it's a coincidence that two of them always disagree with the other two no matter what stock or topic is being discussed?

  7. Bloomberg, CNBC.......... baaaah, it's just news and opinions, just like the tons of other crap out there.

But, atleast CNBC's got the women. Now why would I watch Bloomberg???!!! The only suggestion I'd make is to put the better looking women in the prime time shows, please.

  8. channel is stocked with zog losers who couldn't hold a job/support themselves outside of their p.c. vacuum........the mannish women have been instructed to preface every other sentence with "of course", or "obviously" in a pathetic attempt to substitute for knowledge or any real experience.....the men are neutered fags who have prostituted themselves and just sing for their supper...itz a perfect example of the multi- cultural, DINK disaster that has become zog 'kwa........thank you betty friedan and Emanuel Celler.

  9. anyone see bartiromo score a minus on the mentally challenged "celebrity jeopardy"?........only the blackmailed, the brown nosers, the vain, the kosher (always "senior" this or that), or the vacuous are allowed air time on the electric synagogue or in zog.....independent, intelligent men need not apply.

  10. I like the women on CNBC (especially Ms Money Honey), but for traders and investors, it's worthless.

TV is a horrible format for learning about the market. Great for them, very bad for you.

It thrives on action and motion. It has to fill a half hour or an hours worth of time. Yet the most successful traders and investors all say, the true money is made by waiting (your level of patience isn't going to increase by watching TV).

-There's no depth at all. You'll never develop any kind of core competency (or Buffett's circle of competence).

-No sense of history. No discussion at all on emotion, human nature, etc.

    -Useless, mindless opinions and banter.

-No objectivity or any original thought.

CNBC, Bloomberg, and anything with fancy quotes on the bottom of the screen turns trading into a casino mentality.

Something that's dramatically improved my trading is realizing that just because it's there, doesn't mean I need it. It's just background noise. Get far, far away from the TV screen if you want to make real money.
