I'm putting @marketsurfer and @Q3D back on ignore. It should be self explanatory. New members should read their posts and decide for yourselves if they've every contributed anything you need to get to your trading goals. I hope my opinion helps guide you toward abundance.

No one has added less to my education and caused as much noise and distraction as @marketsurfer and @Q3D .

You did not read my statement. I said that "It appears that my trading rules will produce a net profit on a randomly generated chart."

My trading rules do not invite random entries.

Marketsurfer has been banned once for this type of behavior. Heck, he even denied such has happen until I reposted Baron's quote to him in a heated debate he had with others down in the Feedback section. Surf responded via leaving the thread after I reposted Baron's banned message with direct link to the problematic debate. Unfortunately, within several days he started the crap elsewhere in another thread that has now lead into him recently receiving a warning about his TA debates...again.

As for Q3D...he's heading the same direction too...both not realizing other members are probably sending in complaints.

The main issue is when they enter the threads of others to disrupt the conversation via a TA debate in which TA has nothing to do with the thread topic. In contrast, this thread is about a "debate of TA". Thus, they are not hijacking this particular thread. Therefore, it would seem OK for them to come into this thread and debate TA considering that's what the topic is about.

Regardless, they usually get caught up in their opinions as if they don't know how to manage their emotions...soon there will be another thread that has nothing to do with TA and they will show up start that "TA debate" crap because its a bad habit they've develop like some sort'uv addiction that needs to be feed.

Strange part is they both use TA...just not the way others use it. One of them (marketsurfer) for illustration purposes while still denying using it. Funny because he admits "using TA" but just not for trade decisions while keeping secret his price drivers...most suspect the price drivers is really just based on TA and the other (Q3D) tried to use TA when he wasn't suitable for such and now trying to find a way to trade without TA and I only see that because I now see him slowly joining in on the TA debate via complaining...its a safe assumption to have about him.

I posted an inspirational note describing a more fruitful path than reading 500 page books. Extract 1 paragraph from Brooks glossary of setups. Put it alongside your personal best and build something that fits your unique skills rather than limit yourself by trying to learn more about how Brooks with his unique skills makes it work for himself.

These fanatics are too bitter to appreciate the difference between a finite path where they're trying to become a clone of someone they don't share anything in common with in terms of skills vs the infinite branched paths available to succeed when following their own strengths.

Because when used by someone who knows how to use it properly, it works very very well. It must be coupled with prudent risk management. It's laughable that folks think there is no validity to the use of TA.

  7. Yes, but for some TA means Technical Analysis and for others TA means Total Arrogance.

    Not pointing at you. :)

  8. I've a question for you. If TA is so good, why it's not working all the time?
