Understanding does not "know".....yes? so details are fabrications. This is where work is involved.....a road to discovery isn't it? motivate to do what? What makes you think there is a "you" there? and what exactly is "you"? can you define this?
"You" is anyone who is willing to answer. Details may be subjective of course and there is work involved in asking and answering questions indeed. But I believe this process can help understand patterns of success and failure better.
Success = BLASH (buy low and sell high)/ SHABL (sell high and buy low) Failure = BLASL (buy low and sell lower)/ SHASH (sell high and sell higher) Is this not all you want to know? isn't this the pattern?
Unfortunately not, because the key element of BLASH (quite an interesting term I must say) is HOW. Which includes technical part as well as personal part. While everything is quite clear with technical part, personal issues are much more complicated.
So technical is ok. But not personal.....which are/is? So what if I ask the question: What does your trading plan say? So if you have a plan/method, then how can there be personal issues?
Personal issues may prevent you from creating the working plan/method. From objective analysis of environment, opportunities, obstacles and human words.
Many alcoholics have a plan to stop drinking. But they continue to drink. Why? Personal issues. Many traders have a plan for trading. But still they are not successful. Why? Personal issues. That's how there can be personal issues.
