The thing is people need to start somewhere. And, as every approach actually works - in the right hands ( important)- it is to the person to make it work for oneself. If they can discuss with someone trading a certain way, then may be, the discussion will allow the person to understand how to make it work quicker.
There is nothing logical about your argument, partly because you are unable to define your terms properly and partly because it's anecdotal. And there is the entire cognitive bias issue. No need to go there.

it's still a great thread. I have seen the damage done by the naive yet very seductive "sellers of the dream" Its not a pretty sight. When I see obvious nonsense, i call it out and try to explain why it isn't reality. Heck, even Cornix was nearly seduced by marketing for god's sake! imagine the damage had it been a "mentor" who befriended him first OR if he didn't posess the reasoning ability to see the folly before too much was lost. These gurus only exist on the internet (price action)--- the real world fails to show any evidence. surf
