Why do they have to finish the BAILOUT before Asia's Monday open?

    They keep repeating this on CNBC.

    Duh, the Asian markets have been open for days during this "crisis".

    Perhaps to disguise the fact they want to get on the campaign trail. Getting re-elected is much more important than the people's business (to those who are running).

    They said the same thing about the LEH bailout, that they had to resolve the problem before the asian markets opened however they didnt. This weekend is it...

    The bubble heads on CNBC just latch onto some inane concept and keep repeating it.

    The US is a trying to get used to the asian way, next up is fed funds at 0%, then the FOMC statement will be written in japanese
     
  6. Actually I think maybe Chinese as we would not want to offend the ones we need to borrow from.

    Our kids sure are going to enjoy paying all this back

    It's so they pressure Congress to pass this piece of crap bill. Note that GE owns CNBC and GE's financial division is a large blackhole.

    Just talking their own book as usual.
