  1. ok, redduke, let me state it another way---- for day trading---on what would be equivalent to a 5 minute time frame, what CCVB size is optimal and why in the ES?

    thank you,

  8. I said no more contributions to this thread....but naysayers hurt those who might find something useful in Prof's method. His method isn't perfect but does work very well...and, from memory, the answers to most of the questions asked are IN THIS THREAD...all you have to do is read and try to understand....it's all FREE....

So one more post just to help those who read all this nonsense and get disheartened.

(BTW, you can say hindsight, hindsight all you want...I won't respond....but thanks to trends that don't exist...)

I saw a HH in the ES at 1516.50 this morning...I thought, perhaps unreasonably to some, a HL might follow. Guess what, a short time later, we made a "potential" HL at 1503.50...Nothing tradeable yet, but....

The HL was confirmed at 1507.50 and the signal to get long.

The target, assuming the trend might continue, was at least 1516.50 but usually a point or two above

We are at 1517.00 as we speak....

This is all Prof Logic's work that allows me to "see" this....not all trades work immediately....but many do and with much less stress than struggling to make a tick or two and getting stopped out every few minutes...

Anyway....my advice would be to ignore Surfer and any supporters that haven't taken the time to learn the method....it is obvious he/they know nothing about Prof Logic's work...probably not the ones to listen to when trying to learn/evaluate something...

Anyway, make of this what you will...respond if you want...I am totally uninterested in trading forum pissing matches and any questions about the method should be directed to Prof Logic....

I know that Bill is very good at defending himself....I just wanted to offer a response to all the un-informed negativity and leading/snide remarks that might discourage someone presently interested....

  9. Mark,

Thank you. I appreciate the response.

Here's the area of the S&P, Mark was talking about. Funny how we could see the identical situation playing out in the market 1000 miles apart.

  10. Yep, I got somathat too, and then some more.

It's getting to the point where it's just, well, obvious within the strictures of probablistic thinking.

Feels good to quit while in the green, something to do with endorphins.

(I hear market surfer is still short though, don't know what he's look'in at)

    Good trading,

    JJ
