Ok, that's fine, however I don't have access to intraday data, well at least not of any great deal, at most only two days back. So, I was going to relay on eod, Daily data, each Bar is One Day, not Volume Charts, but Time Based. I know, this is NOT preferred, but I'm not interested in trading real-time rather looking to swing into stocks. Anyone else using QuoteTracker?
RedDuke Excuse my computer shortcomings but; how do i get that indicator into my ninja trader? Thanks in advance Mitch
Hi Mitch, Unzip the file. It has 3 indicators: Ergodic, TSI and EMA (some modified version). Take any or all and copy them to the following folder: My Documents\NinjaTrader 6\bin\Custom\Indicator. Then open the indicator through Edit Script from Ninja Control Panel menu and click on compile button there. That is it, it now can be added to the chart. Regards, redduke
Hey, Anek, Prof or anyone, here are my trades today all made on a bare bones 2401 CVB chart. Comments please. Cheers http://i11.tinypic.com/6fp7zmp.png
If you have EOD then you should have tick data and that is what makes up the CVB Charts. Volume comes for the tick data. As far as archiving the data to make it useable for reading price, I can't help you. Multicharts does that automatically. I do this for a living so the costs of a professional charting program & a quality datafeed is just a cost of doing business. Multicharts can be had with EOD Data from eSignal for less than US$100 a month total. That is less than US$5 per trading day. To me that is a small price to pay for 2 priceless tools to held one learn personal & financial independence.
Cheers Anek, when you break it down like that makes it easy to see Still a work in progress here Cheers again for your reply
