  1. a labeling program? its a labeling program?! when i asked if it could be programed, i thought we all used the same nomenclature in the business, i guess not, so i'll clarify:

program--- automated executions based on objective parameters.

i have no interest in labeling programs or any programs that allow subjective interpretation and execution.

your system is subjective, just admit it.

  2. You post pictures of your house in Bryn Mawr with the Wal Mart furnishings. Not hard to figure out net worth. Not hard to look up your tax records either. You should really keep up on them you know.

If illusion is what I'm doing then it is being done on over a hundred computers all over the world 24 hours a day and I am truly a wonder to behold. Those individuals have no need to "objectively" test it because they are objectively USING IT. You are really an ignorant ass.

  7. Look, you do what you do, I do what I do. Let's agree to disgree.

At some point you want to honestly and personally review what I do, have at it. You are welcome to. Until then, the unfounded comments are not welcome.

  8. Ouch... surf you can be such a bitch!

Now I'd love to see this, ahem..., 'debate' continue between you two (purely for entertainment purposes of course  ), assuming that both of you can stay on the subject without resorting to names, etc... Sh*t, what am I smoking, this is ET!

  9. This battle, as are all trading disagreements, will be decided in the market place.

My viewpoint, when Surf PUKES (yet ... again) on his current heavily Short position in the YM (against the dominant trend) he's going to send ProfLogic a PM begging his foregiveness and asking him in a contrite manner to please allow Surf to sit at his feet.

Of course, by then it's going to be way past too late.

Just to keep the thread on track, here's the chart. The horizontal white line at the price 12697.50 represents Surf's mean average price.

    Good trading,

    Jimmy

P.S. In case you're wondering why I do this, I'm an analyst by nature, I'll analyze anything and everything to determine whether it has value to me and my trading or not ... and I think it would be very valuable to know that if I were heavily Short at what may be the beginning of yet another bull run ...

As ProfLogic has mentioned (time and time again-jeez, he's much more patient than I am), the indicator won't tell us, so how will we know?

  10. totally and unequivically false. proflogic method is neither objective nor logical nor original. i have no interest in turning over that ground again.

actually, we are happy with the short YM entry levels. furthermore the oil long is performing nicely, and NFI should be very soon.

    regards, surf

ps. i do apprieciate your usually cogent analysis and charts--please keep them coming!
