    Guys,

I spoke with Bill over the phone on several occasions, and not once he pushed anythign on me. We actually talked about trading.

By the way, this is the purpose of this thread, so if you want to discuss Bill's class please start another thread.

    Regards,

  7. Is this supposed to be an insult?

From some old guy, who is known as a vendor salesman?

Thanks for the laughs today PompousLogic, you've provided quite a few.

  8. Yeah, Red he's a real stand-up guy, we know, just read through the past 10 pages and you'll see how wonderful he is.

The conversation on PompousLogic's real trading job (VENDOR) is very relevant to this thread, so that everyone can see his true motivations for sharing his information, LOL. :p

    No more Sales Solicitations, PompousLogic!

  9. And here's a PM that yet another ET'er received regarding our sage Pompous Logic. This was posted in public, from page 117 of the thread Technical Analysis Doesn't Work, so I'm repeating it here.

    Quote from ProfLogic:

"I've tried to state for years in this forum my rationale for sharing and why I share so openly with some and not others. I've had numerous individuals over the years request information regarding what I do so they could test it for themselves to see whether or not it would be useful to use for their own personal trading and for the most part I share openly..."

Interesting, ProfLogic. I received an unsolicited PM (I will not say who - it is up for them to decide about posting on ET). They had a lot of nasty thing to say about your seminars and you:

"I want to let you know that this character, Proflogic, is a scumbag and a scammer. I was scammed into spending $4000 to attend one of his seminars in 2006. It was a decision I'd regret ever since as was a total waste of money. Be aware that this guy is a charlatan. He gave himself the title of "professor" and adopt a obnoxous and insulting manner to other peoples so as to belittle them in a way as to "how dare you question the learned professor, you idiot".

It continues on much further, but it was an eye opener. And it confirms what I have kind of been thinking about your postings...

It can't be just coincidence that all of these different posters, who don't know each other and don't communicate, have developed the exact same opinion of PompousLogic again, and again, and again over the years of his (illegal) tenure here at Elite Trader.

I'll tell you what RedDuke, if it looks like a duck, if it quacks like a duck, then it IS A DUCK.

  10. Note: The above missive is an edited version of a longer form letter which I'll search for and try to post in its entirety if I can find it later on after the market closes.

In the meantime, if anyone comes across the blogspot where one of the (so-called) professor's students is trying to trade and getting hosed by the market, can you please forward me the link?

I would love to post it. :D
