I thought that this topic was on why do people trade. How did it get to Farmers hedging their produce lol
Why do I trade? I trade because it provides a good income for my family. It's better than a job because: (a) I can make more than I would make working for someone else. (b) I have no boss, no partners, no one to report to and no one who can walk into my office and say, "You're fired." (c) I work from home, my schedule is flexible and I can spend a lot of time with my family.
the point I was making is, everybody should be a trader. Even if you work in a factory. You trade your time, labor, and experience. There's a certain group of elitists who look down on employees and view them as incapable of trading. I'm just a common man, and encourage everybody to trade. If you view yourself as an employee you will spend your life as an immature child who can't understand why daddy pays bills instead of buying you a new toy, and complaining that Johnny has more toys than you have. Don't get me started. I watch a lot of tv and observe the way they talk about the unemployed.
You are very welcome young lady. A farmer keeps good relations with their banker and local AG office of the USDA, usually by giving them and their children watermelon and pumpkin patch privileges. There are many ways to TRADE in life............ another example: ask any well grounded farmer if they had another choice in making a living if they would leave the farm for a city job and I would bet the farm more than 90% would say: Not a chance sonny, not a chance !!
