Why Do People Trade when the Failure Rate is So High?

Discussion in 'Trading' started by stockgirl, Aug 29, 2006.

  1. stockgirl, are you calling for more red tape and regulation? private investors don't need that, they are risking only their own money. next you'll be telling me i can't have a pool in my backyard because i'm not a certified swimmer. the last thing you need is your ass tied up with more regulation.

  3. Ok reid, I can't help it, I'll bite, or a certified shrubber to plant a tree in your yard.

How did regulation stop, Kenny, Michael, and refco. Yeah some are in jail or headed there, but the investors/traders, thank you and get in line, we may be able to get 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of your money back!

  4. I agree...now here is MY gross generalization. The market is easy to understand and trade because it is male, IF the market WERE female the failure rate would be 100%:D

and yes ES you ARE a respector of women:p

  5. lol, its hard to forgive you when you refer to me as a kid and a sycophant. You're a real piece of work. Since I have shown no sings of being a sycophant I can only assume the you meant a word like "myrmidon".

This would be like me using the word "pedant" to describe you, when "affectation" describes your qualities much better.

If you truly were sorry, and the sycophant comment was not directed at me, then I accept your apology, and offer mine in regards to my tonality.

Yes Don B. I was referring to you

I have a humble request, could the suffrage guys take their discussion to the political area of the boards. It is hard for an old geezer like me to follow the original thread like this.

with this in mind I have started a new thread, that I hopefully will never become part of. Its called the argument thread.

    Have fun.

  7. you lobby to keep out retail traders without a license?? after all the support posters have given you on this board?? don, you need a kick in your ass. you should be considered the enemy of the every aspiring trader that comes to the table with their $5k for a shot at the american dream. now that you have made it you want to shove out as many guys as you can. what else did you ask regulators to do to cut us off.

That "kid" comment made me thinking he is arrogant as hell (I thought I was bad). In his word I cannot form an argument yet he cannot properly follow what other people said in previous posts.Stupid prick.

  9. He's not going to admit much here.
Were he addressing a pro nanny-state crowd, the truth would come out.
