Upgrade to two small pieces of copper wire instead of straightened paper clips and you will be good to go. Yes.......this design does work!
Why not just subscribe to Netflix, Hulu +, and Amazon Prime and call it a day? Under $300/yr.. What else do you need?
If you're really "bold", you can look for empty homes in wealthier suburbs that still have an antenna mounted on the roof..... and go up there and "grab" it after dark.
I am going to build an antenna for fun. Thanks for all the suggestions. In the short term, I got this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008KVUAGU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 For the channels that come in, it works extremely well for me. HD looks great. I still don't see channel 5 (NBC) or channel 2 (CBS), but I noticed that channels came in slowly. Maybe when I get home tonight I will have those too.
TV Fool is an excellent source as well. http://www.tvfool.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1
Hello. I've had Netflix before and I actually enjoyed it on my Ipad. With the combo above do you still need basic to get your local channels?
I just did some research. I had never heard of this ROKU. Just so I know. I can buy a ROKU, get Netflix and amazon prime and Ill get pretty much everything I get from UVERSE? I like watching hbo and cinemax series, like homeland and stuff like that...thanks
