A 'Time' study I did a ways back while seeing if anything emerged from measuring time as a fractional fractal against prime numbers. There are certain 'nodes' where various timeframes converge; 6am is one where eyeballs trading different time charts all see the same data.
So suppose all these nodes line up at 6AM. Yet I don't understand what the implication is. Of course, in a very bullish market, you will have a trickle down effect where they're buying all the way from 6H all the way down to 1m. But that's rarely the case in a normal market.
Q: How do various participants perceive the market through the lens of Time, Volume & Price? A: It depends on how they 'measure' these components, not a closed ended question, more of an open ended one. What I've come to understand is that there are a range of participants, each have a 'frame' by which they perceive and interpret market data. This perception forms the basis by which they either take action or not. Furthermore, it gives an indication of what type of strategy and tactics they might implement. There are timeframes that have more 'eyeballs' and others that have less. In and of itself, it doesn't provide any edge, however the study did point to an area of inquiry that did.
%% ACTUALLY cant focus on the problems, even if it was bad childhood patterns; have to remember the good kid patterns; Hebrew kid with a slingshot against a GIANT 9' 9''with a coat of mail[coat of scale, like snake scales.] Ist Samuel 17 Cut off a snakes head+ fill it full of lead or vice versa ACTUALLY i wast errorfied @ the zoo once, as kid ; a mid -east lion roared@ me@ dinner time + first time i heard that , almost ruined my day. Aloha Sprout, This is a very interesting concept. Thank you very much for sharing. I'm wondering, why did you chose to only look at prime numbers?
Gann Sqof9 for NQ today, using open and once HOD 20371.50 was made (of course it could have gone higher but didn't) LOD was targeted from 20371 to 20958. LOD was 20958.50 ES was similar.
It wasn’t just primes. I used ‘bar numbers’ as a reference index by which to compare all timeframes. Certain patterns emerged. Some are esoteric, others have a rational basis in how market data is delivered and consumed. Consumption would include pre/realtime & post processing.
