You’re not a trader by any stretch of an imagination and you have zero chance of ever becoming one until you wake up from denial and stop gambling.

Take responsibility for your actions, learn to control yourself and do not blame it on self-sabotage.

You’re a compulsive gambler unable to control yourself and you’re destroying your (and your family’s) life, yet you describe it as “trading”.

You should seek help of competent counselor to help you deal with your underlying emotional pain instead of feeding the stock market’s slot machine when you’re emotional and mentally unfit.

    Many ways to use time.

Daily: Day of week/month/year and anniversaries of key market swings/news events.

Intraday: Time of day (1st and last half hour), time cycles such as 5/6/8 minutes. Fib time "retracements" and projections too.

But my main one (in Excel) is Gann Sqof9 time projections from each day's opening and swing hi/lo points upto that point. Ditto for price.

  5. Aloha SunTrader,

Thank you for your reply. I have not heard of trading off of anniversaries of key market swings/news events and the gann square

I also have not considered looking at timeframes outside of 1,5,15,60 minutes (which I’m always looking at for nesting fractals)

    plenty to read into.

    mahalo!

Time is more precise than price

You could read up on some Jared Tendler's

It's a common experience for those starting out.

Michael Jenkins, although dry, is a much easier access point into Gann. Idk if the developer is still around but Gannzilla is fun software to play with.

You can find many of his work as pdfs on one of the popular forex sites.
TimePrice Research - Astrofin also has many Gann references.

"The Thirty-Second Jewel" by Constance Brown is remarkable work as well.

If the above is too 'woo', then for the more main-stream science focused; Robert Edward Grant's 'Philomath' and his accompanied website is a wealth of knowledge probing the relationships between mathematics, geometry and music.

  9. I cant speak for @suntrader,but I believe he will reference an intersection between time and price as the key, rather than one over the other.

But thanks to you,as usual,Sprout for highly useful info.
