T80 - regarding Jacks obfuscating approach - if that's the price of admission, then so be it. After reading a particularly elucidating post by Jack, I realise now why learners start immediately with channel drawing and not rudimentary theory - theory implies rules. Experience develops "conclusion sets". Jacks post is back in the 50's somewhre. I understand now why Jack steps back from binary based decision rules and favors conclusion sets based on multiple inputs. That's the market. The market can't be boiled down to simple if then statements. Therefore, neither can it be traded relativily effectivily using a uni dimensional approach. Its always new, reinventing itself - forever remaining the same. Now I understand why sct is the FRAMEWORK and the actual implementation is up to the trader. How do you TELL someone how to hit a fastball? Or knock a golf ball 300 hundred yards down the fairway? You don't. Heheh. Its starting to gel now. Thanks guys.
Oh please... we aren't talking about rocket surgery here, it's trading... it's only complicated if you want to make it that way
