There's no point. Spy has a bunch of backtests, I have a bunch of backtests. If I threw up the backtest, posters would judge that they are curve fitted. I could tell them to randomly pick a dozen names with decent market cap to backtest and it would still be deamed curve fitted. The numbers are simply not imaginable. Things are typically touch and go for the first several trades but then they just take off. I can't even talk about compounding because then it would crush the equity curve. I guess we're just nuts! That's fine with me. I have to come to ET to find NUTS people who understand what I'm talking about. For the record, the trigger for the $1B transaction goes on next week. There are only 3 of us and we're looking to clear 4x more then what Jack mentions, after taxes, by year's end. Alot of this crap is unbelievable. The return is peanuts relatively small but better then hedgies biz wise. The $400MM endeavor has nothing to do with what Spy/Jack/Myself do. But we're nuts... Remember??? HAHA.. HAHA HA!
According to your specs see attachment. I put separate items down the page in rows to make it easier to read. The journal for Jan will yield lowest level. For the journal months of FEB through about April the mid level will be the yield For the journal months after August the yield will be the upper level.
orang, I must say that you are one of the most juvenile, offensive posters I have seen on ET and that is saying something. I am "one of those guys from Australia" who has automated the EQUITIES portion of the method. Nothing to do with FTT or futures, etc. I have automated using Amibroker and trade using IB. I posted my scripts on ET. If you like, I will post them again. I am up just over 30% since 1 December 2006, in real trading, which includes missing some trading days, etc. The 'other guy' in Australia is up 20%+ from memory, but started using real money in mid December, so on an annualised basis his performance is probably similar. When Spydertrader posted his original equities journal, he was mocked and derided, as was Jack. He proved that it works. I have proven that the EQUITIES portion can be automated. So, if SpyderTrader posts a 12 month journal where he demonstrates the EQUITIES model works (which I have confirmed in my own trading), why would he be suddently spouting crap about the futures method? Can the futures method be automated? I think a version of it could. However, it would involve some fairly complex coding involving automated trendlines, etc. which I don't have time to try at the moment. Perhaps one day. Anyway, if your company is making 15M p.a. good luck to you. There's no need to insult others who are trying to be successful in their own way.
another one of those kids who believes he can hide behind the anonymity of an internet forum and farts with his mouth.
