I kind of feel sorry for the kid. He's been brought up in a society where discipline is a four letter word. Any and all behavior is minimized, ignored or completely excused, and if you're really good in sports, that's another free pass. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve the time, he does, but I'm in no way surprised by his reaction. No doubt he actually believed he'd get a slap on the wrist.
Thanks that was worth a pretty good laugh this morning. At least it looked like he could do some him some rithmatic. Maybe he too can be a community organizer.
