Why did obama start out with healthcare and invest so much into it.

  1. With so many issues that were on the Voters minds. Why did he get himself into the health care quagmire at the expense of so many things he could have worked on that people were worried about, and he had the political capital to do it.

He could have waited to Tackle Health care on the second or third year of his presidency and worked on the easy fast stuff that would have made voters happy. And increase his political capital.

It seems he squandered it all on trying to chew way too much than what he can swallow and now Democrats and Obama look like a bunch of dunce's about to get elected out (Democrats in congress) And he handed Republicans an easy low hanging fruit to attack him and congress with.

He's the far, far, way the heck over there, left... the first step for a Socialist takeover of a culture is socialized medicine. He's just doing things according to his priorities. The thing is that most of us have good insurance and healthcare that we are happy with and we would rather see him and lots of socialists skewered on really rough pieces of wood with lots of splinters and a roaring fire.. well maybe that's just me...

The rest of the Democrats know that they have to have the Black Vote or they will lose out on all the money that they siphon off the system. Health Care Reform is nothing but an attempt to bring welfare healthcare to the same level as white-private-sector-employed healthcare. It would bring worker's healthcare down and welfare recipients healthcare up and level it out. Obama knows that everything he is for is bad for the economy, he as much as said so when he answered questions with "people that vote for me are more interested in leveling the field". That's saying they are more into class warfare than what's best for all...

Blacks don't work in the private sector because Jessie Jackemup sues employers and the risk of hiring a black makes it not worth it to do so... I sure as f^&k never would hire a black, they are so lied to, they believe that they don't have the jobs because of racism so you hire one, they look around and don't see any other blacks in the place and they start up the culture war against whitey.... then it's a half decade struggle to get rid of them without paying off the race industry attorneys... if a black worker would sign away his rights to sue based on race I might hire him /her but without that, forget that s%^t...

I live in an ultra liberal area and know some of these community organizer folk. They suck money out of the system by writing grant proposals and typically do pretty much nothing that I can see other than have lots of meetings [with food] to plan parties [with donated food] that will energize the community.. then they hire a guy and pay $10 an hour to leaflet a place and call it community action... that's the background that The Obumma hails from....

  3. Because health care is the holy grail for the oppressive nut jobs. With it they can control and tax every aspect of your life.

  4. Which the corporations now do but since they are so benevolent, its excusable.

  5. All good points and spot-on.

It amazes me to hear Dems cry, "We MUST pass healthcare (they don't mean "health care".. they mean THIS PARTICULAR OBAMACARE bill). Otherwise, (1) all the time spent on it will have been a waste, and (2) If we don't it will cripple Obama's presidency.

Well, what's more important? One man's "presidency" or the well-being and freedom of the USA? (And especially THIS presidency... he's already revealed himself to not only be a buffoon, but very, VERY much farther left than his campaign promised... those lies ALONE should be enough for him to be rebuked!!)

Obama promised [though LIED] about both "transparency" and "bipartisanship" in developing a health care bill. But because of their sufficiently large majorities in the House and Senate, they went for a POWER GRAB instead.

It would have been EASY, EASY, EASY to pass a beneficial health care bill with bipartisan support... but it wouldn't have included such a big power grab by the government.

Obama and the Dems don't really want "health care" at all.... they want THIS OBAMA-NATION OF A BIG GOVERNMENT POWER GRAB... "health care" is the smoke screen.

You would think some of the Dems would have more conscience that to go along with this oppression and garbage...

Under Bush we get the vile Patriot Act... now under Obama, we might get Socialism via government run health care. How much more trampling of the American way of life can our Republic stand?

  6. Let me guess,you don't like black people ?

Democrats struggle to salvage health-care-reform legislation, a new NEWSWEEK Poll shows that while a majority of Americans say they oppose Obama's plan, a majority actually support the key features of the legislation. The findings support the notion that Democrats have not done a good job of selling the package and that opponents have been successful in framing the debate. The more people know about the legislation, the more likely they are to support major components of it.

The NEWSWEEK Poll asked respondents about eight health-care-reform provisions that Obama and many Democrats in Congress have generally supported. It found that the majority of Americans supported five of those provisions, three by particularly large margins. Eighty-one percent agreed with the creation of a new insurance marketplace, the exchange, for individual subscribers to compare plans and buy insurance at a competitive rate. Seventy-six percent thought health insurers should be required to cover anyone who applies, including those with preexisting conditions; and 75 percent agreed with requiring most businesses to offer health insurance to their employees, with incentives for small-business owners to do so.

  8. When 50 million people without health insurance have health insurance, pre existing condition clauses are eliminated, can keep their kids on their insurance until 26,prevent insurers from dropping coverage when you get sick,no lifetime caps etc, they will never give it up

30-50 million new people with health insurance and even more with the new insurance reforms is a lot of democratic votes,And I cant wait to see Republicans running on a platform to take it away

  9. Oh yes, those evil corporations that make you buy products you don't want. Not too mention all the jobs they provide for whiny libtrards who'd rather sit around with their hands in their pants jackin off to Rachel Maddow.

  10. Hey neocon, let Ron Paul straighten out things for your simpleton puny brain.
