I think you are splitting hairs on the defination of atheist. It really doesn't matter except to make your christian beliefs somehow more valid to yourself. And some how your defination of atheist makes atheist less in some way.
It's really not all that complicated you either believe, don't believe or are non committal. It always seems to be the ones with an axe to grind that hide behind the endless permutations of the definitions.
It's less complicated than you appear to realize, you either have belief or don't have belief. Then there is no need for "non-committal" "It always seems to be the ones with an axe to grind that hide behind more permutations of the definitions than necessary"
stu shocks piker dude with a stiff verbal elbow to the chin. piker realizing he has been outwitted retreats to his computer screen and makes some demo trades to help restore his self confidence, vowing to revenge the savage attack of the stumeister.
I'll go so far as to say some people honestly have not come to a conclusion as to their belief. So how's that belief in non-belief working out for you stu, anybody buying your crapola?
it's not about belief, it's about evidence. it's about rationality and reason. that's what it's always been about. do you want to conduct your life FOOLISHLY? Or according to the proven rules of reason?
That's bullshit. You may erroneously believe you make all decisions and embrace all personal philosophies of your own through uncontested reason /facts but that's patently absurd.
