I had an order in to buy some GE at 22 to start a postion to hold for awhile. Oh well, Buffett isn't always into his picks at the bottom so maybe I'll still get in without talking myself into moving my price up.
Buffett takes weeks or even months to buy/sell, due to the vast amounts of money he manages. So his buy/sell zone is just that, a zone, not an exact point. What really matters is that he makes money in the long run (most people don't) even if he doesn't pick the exact bottom (nobody can).
Yep, that was my thought in trying to get in with a small position and holding for a longer term. I was going in small enough to endure pain, and add as all this mess works out if I see it turning. Still would like to be in, and still may get it. I think GE is solid in the long run.
