Why can't I wake up earlier to trade?

for the sinuses, when you feel that dry burn in the nostril coming on, eat an entire sweet potato, put an unbroken clove of garlic in that nostril before bed, leave it there 20 minutes, kill that bacteria trying to grow ,then toss it,hot shower in the face in the a.m.,steam out the nostrils, for that fear of setups, go back to sim and trade the hell out of every setup ,til you know intuitvely ....which ones have better odds, then come back live and trade those aggressively, the less likelier ones sparingly...for feeling bad, reprogram yourself to never feel bad and never use the word can't....don;t waste your time with antibiotics..that and 3 cents makes a nickel

  2. Ok,

I got up today early enough after waking from a dream. I noticed a TA setup to the long side on CL futures that I estimated it would be possible to achieve a scalping profit from. As you probably guessed my other issue is over trading. So I said to myself, I will take this one trade today win or lose real money. I got in the trade long and after taking 2 ticks against me it finally moved 1 tick above my entry, so I walked away from the computer with my stop and target set. My target was achieved.

What's funny is I now see CL going down hard. If I did not leave my screen and had the balls to wait for the short setup, I could have caught part of that move. No I would not have been able to hold for the huge move down, but congrats to those that are able to stay in the trade by watching the screen since you guys made a ton of money on price going straight down with no retraces.

  3. Looking at the chart, I thought something caused that huge sell off, and I was right.

"2:00 pm : Equities have extended their losses in a sell-off which saw the major averages and crude oil drop to session lows. The move coincided with European Central Bank's Luc Coene saying that outright bond purchases by the European Central Bank are very unlikely."

I'll go out on a limb here, maybe lack of commitment?

Just an idea... and I'm not saying its a good idea...

But what if you setup really loud audible alerts to wake you up when a setup occurs?

  7. A programmer has offered to help program one of my setups, so I may do that since then I would be totally automated.

Automation is not easy at all. Creating alerts is not nearly as difficult. They are not the same thing. I would be leery of a programmer who claims he can automate your system to profitability.

Learn how to build alerts for your platform.

not lazy, scared,no confidence in the set ups, prioritize em,best, mediocre ,rare ..start trading the best with stops,ALL of them on sim, keep a tally, stay in with conviction, add wins and losses and see for yourself in black and white that it works, will increase your confidence
