  1. This map doesn't prove much beyond the statistic. What meangingful conclusions do you wish to draw...how unsafe the US is? Oh yeah that's right let's move to Yemen, Oman, Pakistan, and Somalia which have a lower %....real safe....
....Couldn't resist after this map was posted.

  2. Yeah I mean something doesn't add up with the thread poster...because I went to a top engineering school as well, I didn't have problems finding employment in 2008. I knew some real idiots in my class who landed great jobs as well. If he is in fact telling the truth, then his career center sucks, or he wasn't willing to relocate.
All I can say is something doesn't add up with his story.

  3. yes, the past 12 months has been hard on everyone. But 2002-2008, EE majors at the decent schools were getting multiple offers. Not just the experienced ones.

  4. Oh please little boy... you're not fooling anyone... you're VERY bitter... you also said you were going to take advantage of Canada's social benefits if you do get residency which implies you've applied or plan to. If you were a man you'd provide for yourself.

You seem especially bitter about American women which I'd bet is based on repeated failures with them. :p

You may want to stop pretending you're a tough guy on the internet. It just makes you look silly because if you really were you wouldn't. Are you mature enough to understand that? Probably not.

Felony obstruction of justice, eh? And it was the cop's fault? ROTFLMAO!!! Yeah, right! We know you're a liar from some of your other posts and you've advised people on ET to commit felony tax evasion so I'm sure that's a crock too.

Let me thank you again for making the United States a better country by moving to Canada.

No they weren't. Stop lying. EE grads from 2002-2006 or so couldn't even get HR people to answer the phone. A complete and utter disaster. I don't know where you seem to get this idea that EE grads were getting 'multiple offers'. If that was the case -- why are EE salaries still below 2000 levels? Why does every EE job that gets advertised out there receive hundreds of resumes? Why are enrolments collapsing? Why is there absolutely no mobility whatsoever in the field?

And I'm not lying about anything. I came out in the top 20% of my class, and despite my good experience, good resume, good GPA, etc., most of my applications went unacknowledged.

  6. LMAO!!! This comment actually proves how dense YOU are. But we already knew that :p Using your logic, shitholes like the Sudan and Iran are "substantially more free than the usa, and yes, safer too." Maybe you should move to the Sudan... it has an even lower incarceration rate than Canada :D

  8. No, here's what you wrote and don't pretend that subsidized education isn't a social benefit...

but if i DO get residency here you bet i'll be taking advantage of the dirt cheap, higher quality education and getting a grad degree at a fraction of what i could in the states!

Wow, you are INCREDIBLY BITTER -- about the U.S. and American women :p

Failures usually are bitter. Didn't your mother ever read you The Fox and the Grapes? Apparently not so I'll clue you in... it refers to the human tendency to rationalize failure to attain something you wanted by claiming you didn't want it. Which is what you do in spades. Must suck to be you :p

  9. Trader666, there is no reasoning with these people, you just have to look at their comments and laugh. This is the same crowd that is saying how tough it is to get a job. When you think about both of those points together it's not hard to see why they are having such a hard time.

You pay $0.20 in commission for trading 1,000 shares? That is pretty good. What firm are you trading with? Do they allow remote trading?
