Why can't americans admit they messed up the economy?

  1. First lets have a look at the central bank. Did the central bank do it's job?

  2. " It may also have supervisory powers, to ensure that banks and other financial institutions do not behave recklessly or fraudulently"

I guess the US central bank did not thave these powers.

  4. And I have contempt for closet racists who are too cowardly to admit what they are so they hide behind lame, phony obfuscations.

  5. Honestly, if pointing to a fact that some racial groups are not doing as well as others is considered racism, I have been a racist all my life. Just because something is deemed politically incorrect to talk about, it doesn't make you a racist to point out real facts (like the fact that Afro Americans - to avoid the word negros - are much more likely to be criminals than whites).

Obviously there's a "difference" between these two "human races." Am I a racist for pointing to this fact? By your definition, I am - and to be honest, I'm glad I am. I wouldn't want to live in a world in which you cannot point to facts in fear of being politically incorrect.

  6. My definition? Show me where on dictionary.com it says anything about me writing the definitions.

For the ignorant and uneducated among us... the reason why cesspool's statement below is racist is that, instead of judging Obama's potential for achievement by his own merits and demerits when plenty was known about him, cesspool judged him based on a pejorative racial generalization. Which is racism by definition.

Let's vote for a black guy because we all know how well blacks (generally speaking) can manage their affairs. The whole Africa is kind of testimony for that.

  10. By "your" definition I meant the definition you posted - since you posted it, I assumed you agreed with it making it "your" definition, too.

There's no point in calling me uneducated just because I disagree with you. I did not come here to flame.
Furthermore, the comments you deem racist weren't mine. I commented solely on the stupid definition that makes so sense at all.

BTW. I wouldn't say plenty was known about Obama. He was practically unknown prior to his campaign, no media exposure, no track record, no nothing. Nobody really knew Obama. Not that that in itself is disqualifying in my mind, but it certainly is reason for more questioning from the public - a questioning that only happened with people that couldn't stand him in the first place. Those already in love with him never questioned anything (with exceptions, of course).
