Why Canadian Swifttrade prospers while American firms go bankrupt?

Discussion in 'Prop Firms' started by AXIS, Sep 5, 2002.

  1. Regarding Millenium, checking out the company that owns it, NYFIX, might give you some clues as to the future of that gimmick. Let's just say they have a very sore taste from Swift. Oh yeah, you Swift monkeys can go f**k yourselves for that one because your abuses literally prevented other firms from getting access to it while it was still active.

As for Penson clearing, one firm already got caught recently batching orders. You really think Swift isn't next?

None of you guys know of the finances of the firm so you could not say whether it will shut down tomorrow or go on for 1000 years. Remember Worldco? Everything was great up until the last day.

    hydro, you sound bitter...

millennium volume keeps climbing higher and higher I don't know what you're talking about. (while it was still active?????) yeah there's a much larger precentage of 300 shares orders and algorithimic BS but it's still quite active I can assure you of that.

do you really think a firm that pays traders 35% to start would go bust? if you do you must be crazy....

    cheers!

calagry is suppose to be a good office. you can really have a chance to make a lot of money. if there are guys at switf that make carzy money, that just means that the opportunity is out there. those who call them "monekys" are just jealous and propably do not make anything!

you should learn a alot and hopefully make a lot of money as well. where else do you get the resources and capital to learn how to trade. the most successful traders at swift are guys that would do well any where. they are real traders and they have figured out strategies on their own. I think that they should be patted on the back and they are congradulated every month when they receive their pay cheque! I think that your attitude is great, that is part of the battle, now just seriously concentrate on your trading and you should do well. think outside of the box and maybe you could be the next super trader.

  7. above all remember to have fun while trading. If you love trading, money is just a side effect.

    are you still in Ottawa?
do you pay tax on your income?
do they allow remote trading from a foreign country?
